Obituary of Constance Laurie Clark

Constance Laurie (Cushman) Clark, 50, of Swanville, passed away unexpectedly July 21, 2018, in Belfast. Connie was born Sept. 3, 1967, the first daughter of Adrienne Burleson and Paul Cushman. Connie was red-headed spark of fire, full of mischief and fun, but with a kind streak like no other. It is no surprise that her chosen career was as a home health professional, using her incredible compassion, humor and grace to help those moving through the end of life. Connie poured every ounce of herself into taking care of the people she loved. Nothing was too much for her to give or to bear, if it was for her family and friends. Connie was truly a light in this world; just being near her made everything better. Connie’s love and light will live on in the lives of her sons, Brian Carroll Jr., Levi Carroll and Austin Hannington; her partner, Jason Perkins; her mother, Adrienne Burleson; her sister, Mary Miller; her brother, Paul Cushman; her sister, Cheri Cushman; her brother, Donald Cushman; her granddaughter, Nadiya Rose Carroll; her grandson, Jace Hannington; her aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many friends that she made into family. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, July 27, at the residence of Laurie and Joel Cox, 191 Belfast Augusta Road East, Searsmont.
