Larry was a remarkable man and was one of my dearest friends. He was unmatched in his wit, his kindness to and spoiling of any animal in his care, and in helping people that he loved. He made me laugh all the time. I shall miss him tremendously, but know that he and T.J. are reunited at the "Rainbow Bridge" once again. This photo was taken in San Francisco when we traveled there many years ago. Larry and T.J. walked Alamo Park, ate at the Gobbler Cafe (where photo was taken), and thoroughly enjoyed their years and travels together - they were never apart. The day T.J. traveled to the Rainbow Bridge, Larry took him out for a lobster roll and an ice cream - two of T.J.'s favorite foods. He had a permanent "shrine" for T.J. at his home; they were bonded for eternity. Godspeed as you take the grand tour of the Universe with your little buddy.

I'm so sorry to hear about Larry's passing. It seems only a short time ago that he was walking around campus with his wonderful red hat. Always a smile on his face.

Larry Tibbetts was a great friend, from college days onward. I still remember savoring lobster on the beach with him. Travel well, good friend!
