Ms. Dale wasn't just a piano teacher for both my daughter and me and also an office manager for my husband, she became in-meshed in our family. She liked us all to say she was our "fairy God-Mother" and she was just that! She was a great example of moral character, strength, class, and dignity. Ms. Dale loved life, her husband, and teaching excellence not only in music, but in life in general. She held herself to the highest standard and set the bar high for herself and for those who became close to her(which so encouraged me to be a better person. Thank-you Dale!) Ms. Dale was relentless about giving up on life, other people, and herself included. I would be honored to express that she was one of the greatest individuals in which by far, I have ever come to know, respect, and love so dearly! I will always cherish our times on the piano bench when she bore with me pounding on her sacred piano keys and listening to me when even it was painful for both her and me to listen to. Ms. Dale, I think of you every day and I am so grateful that you were saved and that our entire Sukeforth family will see you again some day! We love you so much and we will miss you so much! Thank you and Thank God for blessing our lives with your presence. Love Melissa, Lew, Alexandra, and Christian Sukeforth

I just found out today of Dale’s passing and I was stunned. I went through high school with Dale and then surprisingly enough we ended up teaching in the same school district. Dale was an intelligent woman and a wonderful educator. She cared for all her student’s well being and education. You were taken way to soon Dale and will be missed. Rest In Peace my friend.

I worked with Dale at Morse Memorial, and she taught 2 of my children and 3 of my grandchildren. She was a professional and caring teacher. Being in her class was a special experience in learning, music and acting! May she rest in peace. I am thankful to have known her.

Dearest Dale, words don't seem enough to convey the deep loss of the friend, colleague, mentor and beloved educator that you were. Through the many conversations I've had this past week with those of us who were lucky enough to know you, work with you, or have been taught by you,one thread rings true in all-you made a difference. You changed lives, you nudged, cajoled, encouraged and led us to be better and to develop our true potential in life. I know your influence made me a better person, and a better educator. Rest peacefully my friend, the song of your life forever entwined with the lives of so many.

It’s hard to put into words just how extraordinary of a human Mrs. Breau was. Though her journey with us has ended, she lives on through the knowledge that she passed along to so many fortunate students. Her gift to me was music, performance, and creative expression. She took me under her wing at the age of seven and nurtured my musical curiousities until my spark of interest turned into a blazing wildfire. Over the course of time we spent eleven years in her little piano room, and though most days it was piano lessons, as I grew older she offered life lessons and advice at no extra charge. Sheet music eventually turned into original compositions, and one instrument turned to twelve as she never tried to tame my wild spirit, merely guide it, something that I believe was the very root of our success. Unique beyond a doubt, she was a gem in my treasure chest of life, one that will always shine a little brighter than most. I will always hold her memory close every time my fingers brush the piano keys. Though my heart aches to know she has passed I find myself smiling through the tears. I have no doubt that she’s off to jam with John Lennon, David Bowie and the rest of the talented musicians who have joined the big band in the sky. Heaven gained a special one the day she passed, the kind of human you might only come across once in a lifetime.

I learned so much from Dale while I was teaching music in Brooks many years ago. She and I found commonality in our purpose and interests and developed a respect for one another and a friendship that I have always cherished. So many wonderful memories. She was one of a kind and I know she will be missed by all whose lives she has touched. Rest in peace dear friend. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Lona Ward Bourassa Loving thoughts to her family.

Mrs. Breau.......my teacher, my mentor, my inspiration. You are the person that encouraged me to follow my dream and for that I am forever grateful. A sacred trust, a mentorship that last from that first September "good morning" for the rest of life. I am so honored to be one of yours.
