Obituary of Christina A Manning

Christina A. (King) Manning, age 83, went peacefully to be with her savior on March 30, 2018 at Stillwater Rehabilitation Center of Bangor Maine. She was born on November 3, 1934, the eighth of eleven children of George W. King and Olive E. (Clarke) King of Belfast Maine. She is predeceased by her loving husband George and firstborn son Clarence, her parents, brothers George (Buddy), Ancel, James, Warren and Melvin , as well as sisters Margaret and Lillian. She will be missed by her remaining brother, Steve and sisters, Helen and Myrtle, her children, Wayne and wife Nancy of Brooks, Margaret and husband Peter Gatcomb of Corinna, Me. Zephyr Hills, Fl, Christi and husband Michael Burden of Medway, OH, and Lloyd and his wife Kelley of Belfast, Me., grandchildren, Kitina, Jennifer, Timothy, Dwayne, Robert, George, Alicia, Carrie and Emily, as well as numerous great grand children, cousins, nephews and nieces. Christina was a very strong, independent soul who loved cooking, taking care of her family, feeding her birds and playing cards with family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Riposta Funeral Home located at 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast, Me. Pastor Charles Hall will officiate.
