Obituary of Anthony A. Collins

Anthony A. Collins, 56, of Brooks passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 8, 2018. He was born on May 14, 1961 in Guilford the son of Harry and Joyce (Austin) Collins. Anthony attended Piscataquis Valley High School and after graduation he attended college. He enjoyed traveling and was able to make it to every state in the country. Anthony settled back in Maine in 2016 to be closer to his son and granddaughter. He worked in retail for most of his life managing various stores until his health forced him to retire. He is predeceased by his parents; brother Lance Collins. Anthony is survived by his son Brian Collins and wife Sarah of Belfast; granddaughter Adalynn; nieces Brooke, Bailey; nephew Brock; aunt Judy Danforth; his loving dog Chica; and many other close family and friends in Piscataquis County.
