My memory to share is Aunt Donnas overwhelming joyful sprit. She was always full of light and humor. I loved every moment spent with her and the family and I truly feel blessed to have so many wonderful memories with her. She always had a smile and a funny joke or some sarcasm and I will always remember her as one of the most joyful and absolutely wonderful women that I have ever known. She will be very missed but her spirit lives on in the people she touched with her big heart, kind smile, and her love for everyone she met. -Jennifer Hammond

I attended elementary school in Lawrence, MA with Donna and was also in her class at St. Mary's High School. Though I haven't seen her since our graduation, her smile remains the same. She was always a kind, happy person. I extend my condolences to Donna's family and friends and wish you peace in the days to follow.

So many great memories with Donna, growing up alongside Liz at LCS. Numerous trips, basketball, girl scouts, among many other activities. She had an impact on a lot of people and she most certainly will be missed.

Whenever Donna was around Lincolnville School as a parent, substitute teacher, school committee member, there was always a lot of laughter. She was just plain hilarious. It deeply saddens me to learn of this loss. I wish Vern and the girls all the best as they work through this difficult time. -Val Bemis

Donna was an amazing person and a great teacher. I was glad one our of children had her as a teacher. When I sat in on her class, she made be understand math, which I hardly did, but Donna's gift as a teacher was the reason. She was an admirable staff member.

We met Donna over 15 years ago when we were brand new to Lincolnville. She was the stalwart Sunday School teacher at the church in the Center. We admired her dedication and her kind humor and her hope that someday we would be doing that work. And we have been, for several years now, always remembering Donna and thanking her for the inspiration. We know she will be sorely missed by her family and close friends. No one who knew her could ever forget her.
