Obituary of Linda A. Bucklin

BELFAST LINDA A. BUCKLIN, 60 of Belfast, died in Bangor August 15, 2017. She was born January 25, 1957 in Belfast, the daughter of Ralph and Ann (Hills) Bucklin. She graduated from Belfast Area High School and worked in several area restaurants. Linda was a founding member of the Waldo County Search & Rescue and a member of the Belfast Cemetery Board of Directors. Linda enjoyed traveling, camping and loved animals. She was predeceased by her father, Ralph, in 1976. Linda is survived by her mother, Ann Bucklin of Belmont; her sister Marleen Bennett of Ellsworth; two brothers Benjamin Bucklin of Belmont and Thomas Bucklin of Waterville; nine nieces and nephews; 4.5 great-nieces and great-nephews and two great-great nephews. A celebration of Linda's life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19th at Morrill Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Culbertson officiating. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Fair haven Camps or Belfast Animal Shelter in Linda's memory. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, Belfast.
