Obituary of David Leroy Ricker

David Leroy Ricker, 59, of Jackson, ME passed away surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, December 17, 2016. He attended Mt. View High School, where he enjoyed participating in athletics, especially being a part of a championship Little League team. He worked in construction for many years, and especially enjoyed working for his grandfather, Hugh. He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time in the Maine outdoors. He will be remembered for his fun-loving spirit, his infectious laugh, and his ‘Ricker Shuffle’. He is survived by his daughter, Tara Woods, his brother, Dale (Bud) Ricker, Jr. and Becky, his girlfriend, Nancy Curtis, his best buddy, Ziggy, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends. He is predeceased by his father, Dale Ricker, Sr., his mother, Phyllis (French) Ricker, and his brother, Donald Ricker. Memorial services will be privately held.
