Obituary of Robert E. Bacon

Robert Earl Bacon Jr., 54 of Bangor formerly of Frankfort, passed away on November 1, 2016 at a local hospital surrounded by his family after a long battle with alcohol addiction. Robert was born February 15, 1962 at the Plattsburgh Air Force Base Hospital, Plattsburgh, NY to MSGT Robert Bacon Sr. and Letha (Burnsed) Bacon. Robert is survived by his daughter Molly, her fiancé Adam and their daughter Saydee; his son Joshua and wife Megan and their children Lexie and Nick; three sisters, Sandra Cormier of Bangor, Terry Townsend of Holden, Pamela Glidden of Frankfort; brothers, Fred Bacon of Myrtle Beach, SC and Paul Bacon of Bangor as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and several close friends including Jimmy D. and Randy L. Services for Robert will be private and memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Foundation for Alcoholism Research FAR, PO Box 54, Middlebury, VT 05753.
