Obituary of Robert Bailey

ROBERT “BOB” BAILEY, 70 of Searsmont, passed away August 22, 2016 at Waldo County Hospital in Belfast. He was born August 27, 1945 to Horace and Alice (Cochran) Bailey. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as an outdoor machinist and preservation tech at Bath Iron Works. He and his brother traveled cross-country on their motorcycles in younger years. Bob was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed visiting with friends at the American Legion and stopping for his daily coffee at B&M Market to catch up with other friends. He was predeceased by both parents and his brother Larry. Bob is survived by his son, Robert Bailey Jr. of Bowdoinham; his brothers Ira, Drexal, Mike, and Peter Bailey; his cousin Jennifer Bailey; and many other family and friends.
