Being able to chat with her about her favorite movie "To Sir With Love" and then watching it, was very special to me. She was a very lovely person who was all about love, forgiveness, and just generally trying to be a good person. I will miss the light and kindness she brought to the world.

Q: What will you never forget about Jane?
A: She was always asking about my day and loved to see pictures of me and the dogs I groomed. We talked about our days and How she wanted to adopt a dog. She would have been the best pet owner! Aunt Jane was so full of love and kindness. Just an amazing person and Iām so happy that I got to get to know her. May her gentle spirit be a peace. Miss you Aunt Jane.

Jane was a truly beautiful person and wonderful sister. She was sincere, kind and gentle. She was always quick to offer an encouraging word to others, and to forgive -- even of those who were hurtful to her. Many people can quote 1 Corinthians 13. Jane lived it. She was the best of us; and she'll be missed more than she could have ever imagined. Love you Sis!

Jane was as dear a sister-in-law as any of my siblings.
She was so talented, patient and compassionate, always thinking of giving God the glory for everything! You will be missed, dear sister.

Born Dec.28,1949 in Bronx,N.Y to Lee and Richard Williams. They moved to Freedom,Maine to raise their family. She graduated from Mount View High School in 1967. She loved gardening, baking, sewing, shopping, yard sales, watching birds at her feeders and reading her Bible. She loved listening to hymns and two days before she passed away as I sat beside her she mouthed the words from the Gaither Vocal Band. She said I could listen to this forever and smiled. She loved going to Anglers restaurant the fish being her favorite. I made sure we brought a takeout fish order to her and fed her as she smiled. She wanted to know if there would be fish in heaven. Jane was very involved in her church at the Kennebec Valley Baptist Church in Waterville. She taught Sunday School, Awana, VBS and did sign language during the sermon. She was an Organ Donor speaker and encouraged everyone she could. Jane had Six siblings Carol Hustus [ Florida], Linda Johnson [ Thorndike, ME], Dot Waterman [ Freedom, ME], Dick Williams [ Mass.], Eileen Williams [ Oregon], Kathy Hughes [ Colorado]. She was predeceased by first husband Bruce Hubbard and daughter Angela Hubbard. She has two sons Kirby Hubbard [New Portland, ME] and Adam Hubbard [New Gloucester,ME]. They both share a love for cooking from their Mom. She has two grand children Ethan Hubbard and Hannah Chapman. she had two great grand children and several Nieces and Nephews who loved her dearly. Jane loved the Lord and was a true inspiration to all who knew her. Her faith kept her strong even when Cancer made her weak. She was a godly wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt and friend to all who knew and loved her. Knowing we'll see her again helps the grieving pain be bearable. Jane was so fortunate to have Raymond Drake come in to her life and marry her in July of 2017. She enjoyed traveling to Belize and swimming with the sharks. She also really enjoyed the picture quilt her younger sister Kathy made her which she could see everyday hanging on her wall. She is in no more pain and dancing with the angels. You will always be in our hearts, Jane
from Willie, Linda, Aaliyah and Jenna.
