Obituary of Robert R. Heroux

ROBERT R. HEROUX (LAMBERT), 70 of Sanford, died at his residence Friday, March 25, 2011. He was born November 4, 1940. He was a high school graduate of Biddeford and was engaged to Betty Lakeman, formerly stage named ‘Grandma’. Robert was employed at Lambert’s Furniture in Biddeford, a family business. He was the lead singer of the Country Gents and other bands like Impala. Later on he did lots of karaoke singing and won many trophies. His stage name was “Mr. Bob”. He lost his battle with lung cancer and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include three sons and two daughters, Tim Lambert, Tom Lambert, Scott Lambert, Ellen Larson and Tina Matherly; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; five brothers; two sisters. Private services will be held for the family. Arrangements by Direct Cremation of Maine, Belfast.
