Obituary of Arthur V. Reed
ARTHUR V. REED, 78 of Wiscasset, died with his family by his side on Thursday, July 21 at his home on Huntoon Hill Road after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Edgecomb, Maine April 9, 1933, the son of David Reed of Lisbon Falls and Myrtle Brewer of Wiscasset. He served the Town of Wiscasset as a supervisor of the Treatment Plant as well as the Wiscasset Fire Department until his retirement. For many years he repaired small engines and equipment from his shop at home. He always enjoyed people stopping by to shoot the breeze with him and helping out anyone in time of need in most cases. The bill was paid with a smile.
