Obituary of Sandra Lenfest

Waldo — Sandra Lenfest, 63, passed away at her residence in Waldo on Oct. 25, 2011. She was born in Freeport on August 9, 1948 to Charles and Margaret (Simmons) Wing Sr. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and fishing. She was predeceased by her husband, Eldon Lenfest Sr. in 2008, her parents, her brothers Roye "Buster" Simmons and Charles Wing Jr.; her sisters, Vena Mollison, Ola Ryan and Diane Bieske. She is survived by her daughter Sandie Evans of Burlington, her son Eldon and his wife Elaine of Swanville, her daughter April Knight and her Cliff of Frankfort. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Nikki Moore and her husband Ed and their son Eddie of Jackson, Shawn Finley and his son Nicholas of Winterport, Karen Greene and her husband Jason and their children Andrew and Lily of Durham, Jared Lenfest of Howland, Ashlee and Stefanie Knight of Frankfort, Kyle Evans and his dad Gary of Dixmont, a sister Elizabeth "Betty" Cyr and her husband Bob of Hampden, Jackie Hooper and her husband Doug of Belfast, a sister-in-law Angie Simmons of Brooks and her friend Ginny Dinsmore of Waldo. Special thanks to Carol Colson and her granddaughter Nikki for helping make it possible for her remain at home.
